Rift Surge competitions, tournaments, leaderboards, seasonal challenges, and prize promotions ("Competitions") are operated by Pixelized Echo LLC ("Pixelized Echo," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By participating in any Rift Surge Competition, you agree to these Official Competition Rules.

All Competitions are:

• Sponsored solely by Pixelized Echo LLC. 
• Not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. 
• Not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Google LLC. 

Participants understand that they are providing information to Pixelized Echo LLC and not to Apple or Google.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific Competition:

Participants must:

• Have a valid Rift Surge account. 
• Comply with these Competition Rules. 
• Comply with Rift Surge Terms of Use. 
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations. 

Participation is void where prohibited by law.

Participants must meet the following minimum age requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old; or 
• Have legal consent from a parent or guardian where permitted by law. 

• Minimum age may vary by region. 
• Users under the age of majority must have parental or guardian permission. 

Pixelized Echo reserves the right to request proof of age.

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in disqualification.

Competitions may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Participation may be restricted where:

• Local laws prohibit prize promotions. 
• Skill-based competitions are regulated. 
• Cash rewards are prohibited. 
• Tax reporting requirements cannot be satisfied. 

Pixelized Echo reserves the right to limit participation by:

• Country 
• State 
• Province 
• Territory 

Specific restrictions may be announced with individual Competitions.

Rift Surge may offer:

• Distance Challenges 
• Seasonal Competitions 
• Leaderboards 
• Skill-Based Events 
• Time-Limited Events 
• Community Challenges 
• Promotional Tournaments 

Each Competition may include additional rules announced within the Game or on official Rift Surge channels.

Each Competition will specify:

• Start date and time 
• End date and time 
• Eligibility requirements 
• Prize details 
• Winner selection process 

All times are determined by Pixelized Echo's official systems.

Unless otherwise specified:

No purchase is required to participate.

Purchases will not increase a participant's chances of winning.

Participants must complete the requirements listed for the applicable Competition.

Examples include:

• Highest distance traveled 
• Most points earned 
• Fastest completion time 
• Event objectives completed 

Rift Surge maintains a strict anti-cheat policy.

The following activities are prohibited:

• Bots 
• Scripts 
• Macros 
• Auto-play systems 
• Modified clients 

• Game glitches 
• Bugs 
• Duplication methods 
• Unintended mechanics 

• Account sharing 
• Account purchasing 
• Account selling 
• Smurfing intended to manipulate rankings 

• Artificial score inflation 
• Exploit farming 
• Coordinated ranking manipulation 

• Memory editing 
• Network manipulation 
• Reverse engineering 
• Data tampering 

Any participant suspected of violating these rules may be:

• Investigated 
• Temporarily suspended 
• Permanently banned 
• Removed from leaderboards 
• Disqualified from Competitions 
• Ineligible for future prizes 

All anti-cheat decisions are final.

Winners will be determined according to the published Competition criteria.

Examples:

• Highest verified score 
• Longest verified distance 
• Fastest verified completion 
• Random draw (if explicitly stated) 

All results are subject to review and verification.

Potential winners may be required to provide:

• Full legal name 
• Date of birth 
• Government-issued identification 
• Country of residence 
• Tax documentation where required 
• Payment information necessary to deliver prizes 

Failure to provide requested documentation within the stated timeframe may result in:

• Disqualification 
• Prize forfeiture 
• Selection of an alternate winner 

Pixelized Echo reserves the right to verify all Competition results before awarding prizes.

Prizes may include:

• Cash prizes 
• Virtual currency 
• Cosmetic items 
• Surfboards 
• Characters 
• Merchandise 
• Promotional rewards 

Prize details will be announced for each Competition.

Prizes are non-transferable unless required by law.

No substitution is permitted except at Pixelized Echo's discretion.

For cash prize Competitions:

Verified winners may be paid through methods such as:

• PayPal 
• Venmo 
• Bank transfer 
• Other approved payment methods 

Pixelized Echo may require:

• Identity verification 
• Age verification 
• Tax documentation 

Payments are generally processed within thirty (30) business days following successful verification.

Actual processing times may vary.

Pixelized Echo is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers or financial institutions.

Participants are solely responsible for:

• Reporting prizes to applicable tax authorities 
• Paying taxes associated with prizes 
• Complying with local tax laws 

Where required by law:

• Pixelized Echo may collect tax forms. 
• Pixelized Echo may issue tax reporting documents. 
• Pixelized Echo may withhold taxes before payment. 

Winners are encouraged to consult a qualified tax professional.

Where permitted by law, winners agree that Pixelized Echo may use:

• Username 
• Display name 
• Competition ranking 
• City, state, or country 
• Competition achievements 

for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

Where required by law, consent will be requested separately.

Pixelized Echo reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Violates these Rules 
• Violates Terms of Use 
• Attempts to cheat 
• Provides false information 
• Interferes with Competition integrity 
• Engages in fraudulent activity 

Disqualified participants may lose eligibility for current and future Competitions.

Pixelized Echo reserves the right to:

• Modify Competition rules 
• Adjust prize pools 
• Extend Competition periods 
• Cancel Competitions 
• Suspend Competitions 

where necessary due to:

• Technical issues 
• Fraud 
• Security concerns 
• Legal requirements 
• Circumstances beyond reasonable control 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Pixelized Echo LLC shall not be liable for:

• Technical failures 
• Connectivity issues 
• Lost entries 
• Server outages 
• Payment delays 
• Data corruption 
• Unauthorized access 
• Human error 

Participation is at the participant's own risk.

If a participant disputes:

• Rankings 
• Results 
• Eligibility determinations 
• Prize awards 
• Disqualifications

within fourteen (14) days of the issue.

The dispute submission should include:

• Username 
• Competition name 
• Description of the issue 
• Supporting evidence 

Pixelized Echo will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, disputes shall be handled according to the Rift Surge Terms of Use and applicable law.

Competition decisions made after investigation are final except where prohibited by law.

Personal information collected during Competitions is subject to the Rift Surge Privacy Policy.

Information may be used for:

• Winner verification 
• Prize fulfillment 
• Compliance with legal obligations 
• Fraud prevention 
• Competition administration 

These Competition Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in these Rules limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
